How a job actually runs
Most of what we build gets covered up the day after we finish it. This is the order it goes in, and what has to be right at each station before the next one can happen.

Radiant tubing gets stapled in a continuous loop across the insulation board while the slab is still open. Loop lengths, spacing and the return path all get set here, because this is the last day anyone can change them. Get it wrong and the only fix is a jackhammer.

Every loop lands on the manifold, labelled and balanced, so a zone that runs cold ten winters from now can be found in a minute instead of guessed at. Supply on top, return below, flow meters where somebody can actually read them.

Boiler, furnace or heat pump gets chosen off a load calculation, not off the sticker on whatever is being torn out. Venting and gas sizing are the two things that quietly fail a retrofit, so they get worked out before anything is ordered.

The thermostat gets set up, and somebody stands there and walks you through it. One of our customers wrote that Levi and Corey did exactly that after her heat pump went in. That is the last station on every job, not an optional extra.

Not what you think is broken. What it is doing, and when it started. Haylee in the office books it from there, and in winter that is usually the same day.

Supply and return temperatures, static pressure, the state of the coil. A number tells you whether the system is tired or finished. A guess tells you nothing.

Poor efficiency, repairs that keep coming back, and 10 to 15 years on the clock are the three markers. One is a repair. Two or three together means we will say so.

The certification Mitsubishi Electric puts on contractors it trains and stands behind for ductless systems. It is why a mini split in a room with no duct to run is a normal week here rather than a special order.
Tankless water heating and condensing boilers. Venting and gas sizing are where these go wrong, and being a specialist means we have done enough of them to know which houses are going to need what.
